Why won't Songbird won't play certain iTunes encoded songs?
Songbird won't play certain iTunes encoded songs?
My old laptop broke down, so I used FTP to backwards sync my iTouch music to my computer. iTunes encoded the songs using names like ZVLZ.mp3 instead of an actual song title. All the songs have their actual names in my iTunes 9.0, and I think they all show up as titles and songs in Songbird but they won't play. Instead I get an error message saying "Songbird has encountered the following media core error: Resource not found."
Please Help!!!!

Inappropriate?Heey Alex,
Resource not found means that the file that Songbird is trying to play can't be found at the specified location on your computer..
Try adding the File Location column to the sort list

and seeing where Songbird thinks the file is at. Then see if you can track down the actual file location and re-import it.
