Window resizing problems. [Windows XP]
I am having difficulties with resizing Songbird in Windows XP.
When I try to resize the window (by dragging the corners, top/bottom or sides) the bottom of the window will snap upwards roughly 20 pixels. After this happens i can no longer resize the window vertically but i can still resize it horizontally. I can still maximize the window with no problems and fullscreen works as well. If i restart Songbird the window will be fine (albeit small) until i try to resize it again, which will cause the vertical snap again.
I am using the default Gonzo feather and have the following extra add-ons installed:
Details 0.2.1.1
LyricMaster 1.6.1.2
More of the Same 1.0.4
MoringPeeps 0.4
Now Playing List 1.1
The Exorcist 0.1.4
I have never had any other problems with the software other than the very rare lockup.
Any help would be great!

Inappropriate?Bump. I'd rather not reinstall without confirmation about whether or not this is a bug. It is entirely reproducible every time I restart Songbird.
I’m unamused

Inappropriate? You could try to create a new (a second) profile with the Profile Manager, and see if you still have the problem in the new profile. If not, install your add-ons, one after another, and see if & when the problem re-occurs.
Please report back your results. -
Inappropriate?Ok. This is incredibly odd.
I made a test profile.
The window responded normally to resizing.
Then I populated the test profile with my library. I have not installed any add-ons yet.
Initially the bottom of the window started to snap downwards several hundred pixels when the cursor was rolled over the bottom edge. I used the top edge of the window to resize down vertically and reclaimed the bottom edge by moving the window up. This behavior stopped after reclaiming the window several times.
Then the bottom-right corner did something odd. When in the bounds where the cursor changes to the diagonal resize cursor, the corner would slowly follow my pointer about the screen resizing the window in the process.
Both of these behaviors have stopped.
I have since tried making another test profile and populating it. I didn't see either of these behaviors again and all 8 resizing points are responding as they should.
I honestly don't know what could have made the window respond in such a way. I'm going to reinstall my add-ons should anything occur again I will report back.
but until then, thank you. This solves the problem.
I’m hmm.

Inappropriate? After installing my add-ons again there is something afoot again.
And I found the problem after disabling and re-enabling a bunch. The new update for MorningPeeps (which has placed a nice little icon next to the lastfm scrobbling icon in the bottom right corner) Seems to have broken the UI some how leading to the effect in my first post, making vertical resizing of the window impossible.
Thanks wouldn't have figured that out without knowing about the profile manager.
I’m excited to have Songbird back, less excited that an add-on release broke it.

I'm glad you figured it out. I just wanted to post a comment on the add-on authors website, but there are already several reports for this issue. Let's hope that he will find a solution and make an update :-) -
Yeah I went to do that as well and saw the same thing. I'm surprised that the new version was released with such a huge bug. -
