WMA quit working after Windows XP update
I absolutely love Songbird but after installing Windows updates my audio in my Virtualbox VM quit working. I don't know how I managed to get the audio working again, but now Songbird will no longer play WMA files, just MP3 (it worked fine before the updates). Looking at the updates there was one for Windows Media Player but I cannot uninstall without uninstalling several other updates. So I tried uninstalling/reinstalling Songbird as well as reinstalling the WMA add-in
Looking at the error log from when I tried to play a WMA I see the following
Error: GStreamer error: Could not open file "m:\antonio vivaldi\concertos on authentic instruments disc 1\1 - 01 track 1.wma" for reading. Additional information: gstfilesrc.c(1050): gst_file_src_start (): /GstPlayBin2:player/GstURIDecodeBin:uridecodebin0/GstFileSrc:source:
system error: Invalid argument.
I am running Windows XP Pro SP 2.
Any help is much appreciated
