Wrong cover art shown when no cover art present
Hi,
I have some songs without cover art information in a directory with a mix of songs (not all coming from the same album). Out of some reason a cover art is anyway shown shown but it is a wrong one. Curiously enough it is the same one which Windows Media Player has chosen (out of some reason) as "representative" for the directory. I find this really bad. Could you fix it?

Inappropriate?Hi one71, Sorry for the late reply!
Well, in Songbird 1.0, they introduced a file fetching feature for getting album art. It looks in a folder of Songs, and if there is a image file named 'folder' or 'cover', it assigns that image to be the artwork for the files. And that looks like what your problem is.
Don't worry, they discovered this issue, and are taking it out of the next version of Songbird, 1.1. The new fetcher will run in this order:
1. Metadata Fetcher
2. Last.FM
3. Amazon (if add on is installed)
4. File Fetcher (Disabled by default)
What you need to do is see if there is an image file located in that folder of songs. If it is hidden for some reason, in Windows Explorer go to Tools>Folder Options>View tab> and select 'Show hidden files and folders'.
If you still can't find any images, let me know, we will see what to do from there.
Again, Sorry for the late reply.
