Allow me to do a filter search

I would love to be able to do a great filter search, select a city, a date range and music genres and see the results.

    Hey there,

Thanks for the suggestion - improving the site search is something that we hope to do in the future! In the meantime, you can actually do quite specific searches for cities/dates (sadly not genre right now) - e.g.:

    "London, 23 Jan 2010"

And on metro area pages you can filter by month:

Let me know if you have any questions :)

    Thanks,

    Emily.

Would be great if we could filter by country, town, venue, year etc. for a specific artist. The list of gigs is just too long to scroll through (eg Morrissey 79 pages in random order

    Hi guys,

Love the site but was wondering instead of being able to see all bands for the month could u see between dates i.e between the 3rd and 7th of december. This would be really useful for if im on holiday or want to see whats on a particular weekend im visiting friends.

Thanx keep up the great work. Chris :-)

I think there is an need to add detail to your location tracker search. For example I would like to see all concerts happening in London (all venues) from December 27th - Jan 4th. But I can only refine my search to show all concerts from beginning of December which means I have to click a 100 times to get to the Decemeber 27th because they are SO many concerts in London. Could you refine it so we could click on the day - I know you can do it on your calendar by seeing the venue and the artists you track but i want to see ALL concerts in london for those days.

    Please help

    Dear Songkick,
Firstly I think the website is awesome and thank you so much for setting it up! I think Songkick is the best gig finding website out there.

Just to ask, I was trying to work out how to track a gig by date in my area. Im not looking for a particular artist I may have tracked yet, just any gig that is on in London, in any venue, from the 25th of December onwards. Is this possible?

    Thank you

    Charlie

    Hi guys,

Great service, but what might improve it slightly, would be the ability to pinpoint events happening on a specific day. At the moment, you only have the option to scroll through events that are happening throughout the month, which makes finding an event tricky, as there maybe hundreds happening.

For example, this month, there are over 250 events happening in the last 8 days of the year, however, i want to find out what is happening specifically on new years eve, but have to trawl for ages through events leading up to new year, and which I have no interest in.

    Hope this helps, Matt

Why can't you easily see all the gigs for a given city between a set of dates? Surely this is a critical use case....
