For Windows
Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs, and choose the Songkicker
For Mac:
Close iTunes, then delete the "iTunesSongkickPlugin.bundle" file. Depending on your version of iTunes, it can be in either of two places:
Library > iTunes > iTunes Plug-ins
user > Library > iTunes > iTunes Plug-ins

Inappropriate? It's not in those locations on my Mac either. I just get annoying messages from SongKick.

Inappropriate?Hey gospitt and PaulKiewiet, I've just sent you both individual emails!

Hi Emily. I have not received the individual email. When I open iTunes, I get the box to allow Songkicker to access the data. Songkicker runs through steps 1,2,3 of 4 with no problems. It gets halfway through step 4 of 4 and has an Authentication Failure claiming user name and password don't match. Instruction to go to View-Visualizer-Options-Songkicker Plug-in are not helpful as nothing happens when that path is followed. Please re-send your email on how to uninstall. Thanks.

Inappropriate?Hey Paul,
Thanks for the extra details, I'll get someone to look into that problem. What version of iTunes are you using?
Did you try looking under your Hard-drive > Library > iTunes > iTunes Plug-ins (as opposed to User > Library > iTunes > iTunes Plug-ins) i.e. :

Let me know if you still can't find it and I'll try re-sending you that email.
Sorry about the trouble with this - we do have improvements for the Songkicker in the pipeline to make it more reliable and user-friendly!

Inappropriate?Hi guys,
Just wanted to let you know we launched the new version of the Songkicker today, it's a stand-alone application now (rather than a plug-in) so you should find it a lot more reliable. It'd be great if you could give it a go and let us know how you find it.
It's available on your Tracker:
www.songkick.com/tracker
(towards the bottom of the page)

We're still on the look out for any usability issues/bugs that might have slipped through, so let us know if you think you've spotted anything :)
Cheers!

OK improvements, thats nice. BUT HOW DO YOU UNINSTALL SONGKICKER? File you mention is in neither the root Library path or user library path. -

Inappropriate?Hey Gary,
Can I ask which version of the Songkicker you are referring to? Because if it's the most recent one you need to go into your applications and remove it from there...
If you are talking about the old version and are seeing pop-ups asking you to upgrade - that's a bug that we're aware of and are trying to fix now.
Let me know if you have any other details.
Thanks,
Emily. -
Inappropriate?Hi Emily
Sorry for your bug alert. Seems a lot of people are flaming this prob.
I do not have the app. I am getting the annoying upgrade splash in itunes.
nothing to remove in the root or user library
possible the file is invisible?

Inappropriate?Hey Gary,
I just sent you an email with further instructions. If you could reply to me via that and let me know if the steps work that'd be great.
Thanks,
Emily. -
Inappropriate?I am having the same problem - please email instructions to get rid of SongKicker and stop the annoying update requests in iTunes. I even tried updating it just to make it stop and it won't. Please help ASAP.
