I love the lists of future events, but it can get cluttered. If i have decided I am not going to a future event, I'd love to be able to dismiss/hide it.
If there was then a button to show all hidden events, I would be able to hide those I am not interested in, but still be able to go back and view all events.

Hey Emily,
I can see what you're getting at with you’re idea! For now though, we have it like it is so that you can use that kind of like your ‘base’ and then once you’ve selected what you want to go to (by clicking ‘I’m going’ or ‘I might go’ ) you can view those specific events in your Upcoming calender:
http://www.songkick.com/users/emilish...
And in the ‘Your events’ tab in your Upcoming events:
http://www.songkick.com/calendar
The other tabs (‘People’, ‘Artists’, ‘Venues’ and ‘Festivals’) should also help you narrow down the view! We’ll take your point on board though and see if other users request it too :)
Let me know if you have and further suggestions or questions!
Emily.

Hi Emilisha!
I think you can dismiss the future event by merely clicking the "I'm Going" or "I Might Go" button (whichever you initially clicked) and it will remove it from your future gigography.
I hope that helps! -

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, but I actually meant that I wanted to be able to dimiss events from my master list of events, not necessarily just from my will go/might go list. Once you have several bands and several venues that are being followed, that can get pretty cluttered.
Thanks,

1Oh I see! You mean from your Upcoming Events feed. I'm sorry, I thought you meant dismissing future events and the information from those.
I suppose a little (x) would be handy to take away/hide the ones that are not really of interest.
I am sure someone from Songkick will be able to get you a more satisfactory answer! :D

I have a similar request, sort of a "my concerts" listing which lists ONLY the concerts I might go to or I'm going to.
The master list is too shot (only a few months in the future) and it gets cluttered if you are watching big metro areas -

Hey cwaidner,
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're asking for, I think we have this already!
If you look on your Upcoming events, under the 'Your events' tab, that lists all the shows you've said 'I'm going' or 'Might go' to!

Does that help?!

I'd like to see an "I'm not going" button at each event that would remove it from your list of nearby events.

I think a good tweak for the calendar page would be a "delete this event/notification" button. For example, I track some bands which I would go see in my hometown, but it's kind of pointless for me to see their shows in other cities (where I'd travel for one of my favourite bands). I just think that it could help a person (like myself) who tracks a ton of artists in multiple places...right now my calendar is cluttered by dozens of shows I don't have interest in attending.
Thanks in advance for the response, and thanks for one of the greatest websites ever made!
