Smith Center is NOT in Durham
The Dean Smith Center is in Chapel Hill, not Durham. Someone has a ver that uses mapquest or something to name the city. Wrong. There needs to be a single Smith Center and it needs to be in Chapel Hill.

Hey MeckDeck,
Argh yes these duplicate and incorrect listings make our ocd skin crawl too - the reason they exist is we get our information by indexing thousands of different websites for tour dates. These websites may all refer to cities/artists/venues/festivals slightly differently, creating separate entries in our database.
We first focused on getting all the information into Songkick, and now we’ll focus on cleaning it up and setting up a system to prevent future pesky duplicates from being added.
As iheartmusic mentions, you can flag this up with us via our 'flag a problem' form (which you'll find on most pages) and we'll get it cleaned up asap. But you don't actually need to go through and change the concert listings (we encourage editing for non-duplicate items, but otherwise there's far more exciting things on Songkick to spend your time on...) - that gets done automatically when we merge two venues together!
Give me a shout if you've got any further questions about this :)
Emily.

Hi MeckDeck:
I have encountered a similar issue before and the songkick people are really good about fixing it. Did you flag the Durham listing on the site as an error? If not, here is how I handle this issue when I come across it.
First, I pull up the wrong venue listings and one by one change them to the right venue listing (I don't know if you have to do this but I am sure it makes it easier on the songkick folks ;)). If you don't know how to do that, you pull up the show - click edit concert - scroll down to where the venue is and hit "change." Then you type in the correct venue and tick the right bullet for that venue. Once that is done and confirmed, it is now in the proper venue. It can be a little tedious but it really doesn't take that long.
Then once the venue is cleared out, I then flag it and in the notes section let the good folks at songkick know that that venue was created in error.
I went through and cleared out the Durham listing for you and flagged it as an incorrect venue that needs to be deleted.
Most of the content from the site comes through feeds and sometimes the feeds may be wonky and give improper information. If someone sees incorrect information, they are welcome to fix it - which is the beauty of the site.
I hope this helped so in the future you know what to do when you come across it! :D -

Aah thanks Emily! You do learn something new every day! :) It is totally the OCD side of me that wants to move the improperly located - good to know it is easily merged on your end!
