The number of songs on the Top Played list, ten, is kind of an arbitrary number. It compiles the list of the most listened to songs across all of Songza within a 24-hour period, by all users, and gets update several times a day.
Typically, songs that make it onto this list are ones that are spread via our Facebook app (http://apps.facebook.com/my_songza), Twitter (http://twitter.com/songza), or ones that people have embedded on their websites).
