My songs dont play when I click "play", they just keep "loading".
My songs don't play.
I click on a song, then click "play", and the loading bar appears at the bottom.
The bar stays there and never finishes "loading" the song. Then, the song never ends up playing. This happens for every song I try and it's been going on for about two and a half weeks now.
It's unfortunate because every time I open Firefox, I open songza and listen to my music.
But now, I surf the web in silence.

Inappropriate? It seems the gdata is where the problem happens. Also enabling the net tab in firebug magically helped.

Inappropriate? Is the problem happening on a YouTube songs? I agree with phy's reply, that it seems to be a problem when trying to retrieve a song from the YouTube API servers. I'm curious to know what happens when you click on the "Watch Video" link, and see what happen when trying to load the video straight from YouTube.

Inappropriate?@ scott
Loading video straight from YouTube worked fine!

Inappropriate? After also struggling with this problem for some time, I have now found a solution...
If you have the Flashblock add-on installed under Firefox you should disable or uninstall it. (Note that you can still run the Adblock Plus and NoScript add-ons without any problems). -
Nice one. That solved it, but you don't need to uninstall Flashblock - just add Songza.com to its whitelist. -
Inappropriate? It is a problem in IE as well as FireFox. Seems Songza would fix the problem since so many people are experiencing the same thing.

Inappropriate?Hey all,
Sorry to be copy-and-pasting these bullet points across threads, but since we're seeing a number of month old, identical threads get resurrected, I want to make sure everyone knows the best way to help us out. If you are still seeing this problem, it would definitely be useful if you could provide the following few details:
- the link for your playlist
- any particular songs on which you're seeing the error
- your browser and OS (including as specific a version number as possible)
- any potentially interfering extensions (such as Ad-Block Plus, FlashBlock, or NoScript)
I'm sorry for any trouble you're seeing, and thanks a lot for your help.

I am having the same problem. Songza says it's loading but it never plays. This problem cropped up recenty c. 10/10/09; I was able to play songs ok about two months ago. I do not have a playlist. Sogza fails on any Bruce Hornsby song or any Celine Dion song or any other I try. I am running win 98 SE with firefox and/or ie6(fails with either) av is norton. My wife is on the same lan as I runs Songza successfully. She has xp, firefox and/or ie7. av is kaspersky. I reported this problem at the Songza site but have not received any reply as of yet. -
