"Password incorrect" error during phone setup

Can't get past Step 1 of the phone setup when I try to add my Sony Ericsson P900 with Rogers Wireless. After choosing the phone, filling in all fields (number, provider and password) I get:
"Sorry, the password you provided was incorrect!"

The password field description says: "Please enter the password for your Soocial.com account.", and I made sure several times that's what I did, but no luck. My password is a strong password, containing plus sign (+) could it be that it's not recognized by this form for some reason?
