Inappropriate? Why is this needed? The Android contacts DB syncs with your GMail contacts.
This is exactly why I came to Soocial in the first place: I had a Treo sync'ing with the Mac address book, and just switched to a G1 that syncs with GMail's contacts natively. So I just needed Soocial to sync the Mac address book and Gmail's contacts. (So far it's not working great, but that's another story.)
Anyway, just wanted to point out that "supporting Android on the HTC G1" == "supporting GMail" as far as I can tell. -
Inappropriate? It is needed because I have about 200 numbers in my phone that I don't want clogging up my Gmail address book.
I can turn off syncing contacts with my Gmail address book but that doesn't give me a back up solution or an easy editing solution. It is really nice being able to edit contacts on a full size keyboard.
Also I have more than one gmail address that I would like some of the contacts to sync to my phone. My current option is to only sync ALL of the contacts from ONE account. -
Inappropriate? Is there an update for android support? Looks like the first post is 12 months ago...
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Android support would also help to merge contacts in a mobile phone, as we can do now in the soocial webpage.
I’m interested

Inappropriate? Please add Android support. I don't sync gmail contacts with my phone since you can control who gets added to Gmail contacts.
