Attempt to Sync with GMail led to complete wipe of contacts; Backups failed
I spent quite a while cleaning out my contacts in soocial and had them looking quite good. Then, earlier today, I downloaded three backups, one from Gmail and two from soocial. I then wiped my gmail contact list and set up a sync job to bring in my nice clean soocial contact list. This instead wiped out the soocial list and left me with nothing. Then, to my chagrin, I realized that the backups I had downloaded were way out of date for some reason. Is there a way to get at my contact list from last night? Damn that list looked good. =(

Really sorry about that. All that work for nothing! Guess you forgot to reset the Gmail connection. If you delete contacts on a connection the will be deleted in Soocial.
We should be able to reset your contacts to the point before the Gmail sync that messed everything up. Give us a few hours. We will probably be able to do this today. (That is our time from now on the next 7 hours)
