Can soocial sync a specified gmail contact group list to my mobile (instead of all contacts)?
I've got a lot of contacts in Gmail, but I don't want all of them on my mobile phone. The best sollution I can think of is to define a contact group list in gmail called "phone list", and make soocial only sync this list to my phone. Is this (or is it planned to be) possible??
If I understood correctly, you already support sync of gmail contact groups, referring to this post.
By using this method, I can also avvoid the issue with getting all the suggested contacts (in gmail) to my phone, as pointed out in this post.

What you want is what we want. It isn't possible yet but we are working on it. We want to be able to decide in Soocial what contacts go where. I am not sure if we can make use of the Groups in Gmail to do that but we will look in to that.

Inappropriate?thanks for clarifying! by the way I think gcontactsync and myphoneexplorer supports sync with gmail contact groups (in some way, I'm not sure how). I guess it's very different from soocial, but maybe it's worth a look. -
