Hey guys, thanks for asking. We are currently in the last steps of integrating a complete overhaul of our syncing (partly) in order to handle photo's in contacts gracefully. We will be needing a few more weeks to test it internally and get it out as soon as possible.

Hi Camila, you are correct. Soocial doesn't support images just yet. We are looking at the various implications of having this implemented and it's not as simple as it might seem.
Think about a phone which supports only small pictures while you want the high resolution ones on your computer or iPhone. Somehow we must detect similarity between small and large pictures to make updates possible.
Right now we strip the images before the contacts are synced to Soocial (but won't remove them either from any contact that already has images).
But you are right we want images pretty badly, as we're Soocial users too and having them is very nice.

Inappropriate?I would be satisfied if Soocial would simply provide a photo upload. Even if the images were not imported from Gmail or other external sources, at least there would be photo capability and we could simply upload another copy of the image. This would solve the issue with resolution, also, as the user would be fully aware of the resolution upon upload.
I'm a shutterbug who takes many pictures, so I would REEEEEEALLY love photos with my contacts! :-)

Inappropriate?Well to be honest it would be much easier to go on adding my contact photos directly on the Mac. And I don't think that it is the big problem to get the images to Soocial. Soocial has its problems getting the images nicely rendered on every device. (just think about the thousands of supported mobile devices)
