Contacts lost when sync failed
I attempted to sync Soocial with my Mac (10.4.11) manually, and AddressBook frooze. I killed it, and reopened it to discover all my contacts were removed. I then looked on Soocial to find the same.

Sorry that happened. That's not good. Do you have a backup? Or is there a useful backup on soocial.com? You do have about 30 users right now. I guess that's not how many you had?
If you can't find a backup, I'll see if we can put your contacts back.

Inappropriate?I didn't have a backup on Soocial, but I was able to restore them from my phone.
I think it would be useful to have some sort of automated backup system, maybe something that detects when a large number of contacts are added/removed/updated and then makes an update.

Inappropriate?Luca, we do make a Backup after an initial sync. I think what happened is that your sync did work and your contacts were sent to Soocial. We did have a server issue over the weekend. This caused the contacts that were synced not to show up in the webapp.

Inappropriate?I understand about the initial sync, but in my situation I synced most of my contacts with my PC, and hence Soocial, after I had performed the intial sync with Soocial, as such they weren't backed up automatically.
I am still having a few problems trying to get everything back into sync. I restored my contacts to my PC, and Soocial wasn't playing nice, as (I guess) I had previously been synced. I tried deleting everything from my Soocial account (all contacts and connections) and re-adding them, but still no luck.
I have tried doing this again, which is now resulting in all my contacts being synced, but all my old contacts are there too (I have made changes in the mean time, adding surnames, deleting old contacts, etc).There are only 27 listed in AddressBook, but when I synchronise it says 57 have been sent - any ideas?
