Does Soocial use the new Google contacts API?

Does Soocial support version 2.0 of the Google contacts API? This allows applications to retrieve only contacts the user has created, not suggested contacts as well. This would be good as it would mean that everyone I have ever emailed wouldn't be synced to Soocial.
