dupes due to f name l name order?
I was able to successfully sync with outlook and gmail but it seems that one of the sync tools added information with first name last name and one added it with last name first name, this created dupes. I ran the dedupe process but I can't even tell if it finished or not.

That is a setting you can edit in Outlook. Unfortunately there is no easy way to reformat the "File as" name in Outlook as that would solve the problem. Even the solution that Microsoft suggests does not seem to work:

We are trying to come up with a quick fix for this. -
Inappropriate?I have the same symptoms (see screen shot). Duplicate entries, one [FN LN] the other [LN, FN]. I have confirmed that outlook is set to default entries to [FN LN] format but it looks like I'll have to go through each of the existing contacts and change the "File as" setting... unless the Soocial dedup process can be made to handle this? I have run the tool twice this week with no success.

We have come up with a way to fix this. We can rewrite the order of the names in Soocial After that the deduper will be effective. Just need your username. You can send it to support (at soocial dot com)
