duplicate not removed in gmail when merged in MacOSX's Address Book
I have a contact which is two times in gmail (with for example two different e-mail addresses) it then goes two times in Soocial, and thus two times in my Address Book. Then I merge them into the Mac Address Book using the appropriate function, it merges into Soocial but it won't merge in gmail. So it eventually comes back two times into Soocial and then in two times in my Address Book...

Inappropriate?Olivier,
Sorry things are not behaving as you expected. In syncing logic what should happen is that after merging both original contacts are removed and a new contact with all the data is added. The same should happen in the direction Of Gmail then.
The problem was with Gmail. It should be fixed now. Gmail changed their API which caused major errors. Basically meant we couldn't send any changes to Gmail. But we could pull contacts. So that's how they ended back in Soocial.
This is the issue:

It is not solved but we made a work around that makes the sync slower, but at least it works.
I’m happy it's working again

Inappropriate? As far as I know the problem is not fixed... At least I'm still waiting for gmail to sync. The famous "Scheduled for sync"... Someday, maybe...

Inappropriate?Similar prob here.
Mac changes loose versus Gmail.
For instance, a contact with 2 address, I remove 1 of them in Address Book and when it syncs with Gmail (maybe 3h later) the 2 addresses come back to my Mac.
Why?
I’m unconcerned
