Gmail scheduled for manual sync?
Hey guys!
I just made a bunch of changes in my Gmail contacts and I logged into Soocial to see if I could sync everything up. But under the "Gmail engine" connection the status is set to "Scheduled for manual sync."
That doesn't sound right. Should I be worried?

Sorry, that's messy. Anytime a sync to Gmail is scheduled that's what it will say in the webapp. It should say "Scheduled to sync with Gmal" or something like that. We should fix that, really.

i just signed up for Soocial, and have the same problem. Connection between Outlook and Soocial are ok, but it's not making the connection between Gmail and Soocial (other than the initial import of Soocial contacts to Gmail).

Thanks for your feedback. Takes a while for the Gmail connection to start syncing. But you found that out. Happy syncing! -

It doesn't seem to work for my soocial account. I updated all my contacts in gmail after the initial sync. with soocial. Now nothing is getting updatedin soocial. Strange thing is soocial says syncing has been done today. But I can't see any results... -

do you sill not see the changes? Are the contacts that you edited in the "My Contacts" folder? If you can give us some examples, we can see what is going on.
