Highrise Background Info Mangled

I'm finding that Soocial is having trouble syncing the "Background Info" section of Highrise (equivalent to Notes in Outlook). When Soocial syncs back with my Highrise contacts it either truncates the Background Info section or adds miscellaneous characters. Any thoughts?
