Is there support for syncing between multiple gmail accounts?
How can I sync my contacts between gmail and my google apps account for use with google voice?
My Grandcentral account was recently upgraded to Google Voice - but they aren't yet supporting the contacts from Google Apps accounts. So I must now manually keep my contacts in sync between my google apps account and my gmail account. I attempted to add both accounts to Soocial, so I could sync my contacts between them, but it appears to only allow me to add one gmail account to my soocial account (I can add either; but not both at once.

We don't allow multiple Gmail connections yet. Can't really give you a time line either. We want to make that available at some point though.
I’m excited about the possibilties a multiple Gmail sync would give.

Inappropriate?This is also the main reason I'm look at Soocial - I also have Google Voice on my gmail account, and need to sync it with my Google Apps account. It doesn't seem like it should be such a big deal to allow two Google accounts. I looked at Plaxo, but only allows one-way sync with Google Mail.
Any update on when this might happen?

You are right it is not a big deal to make. But will increase our syncing traffic to and from Gmail. At this point we are not ready to generate that much traffic. -
Bart, thanks for the response. I believe I saw somewhere that you were syncing every 10 minutes. That's way more than I need. I'd be happy to sync once a day if I could sync between Google & Google Apps accounts. Maybe throw in the capability of doing an on-demand sync for those times I know I've changed something that I want sync'd sooner. Heck, if it means I can sync across all of my accounts and devices (Gmail, Google Apps, Outlook, Cell phone), I'll be happy if you sync once a week and allow a once-a-day on-demand sync. That's way better than what I have now!

Inappropriate?I completely agree. How did you guys determine to do contact sync every 10 minutes? Contacts are a slow changing data set. I don't make changes to mine all that often, maybe a couple times a week at the most.
So, if you slowed it down, to let's say, every 30 minutes or every hour, then would the servers be able to handle multiple Google connections?

Inappropriate?I to wouldn't mind if there was a once per day or weekly sync... as Tony said, contacts are a slow changing data set that need not be updated every 10 minutes.

Inappropriate?I hopefully didn't make a too-misleading statement above. I read in one of these topics that sync'ing took place every 10 minutes, and mentioned that above. I have since read what I believe to be a more realistic statement that said Google sync'ing took place several times per day.
I still stand by my statement, however, that I would be happy with less frequent sync'ing in exchange for the ability to sync with multiple Gmail/Google Apps accounts.

I am in agreement with everyone else. Periodic syncing is all that is needed. Some day it might be nice to have frequent syncing but manual syncing sucks!

Inappropriate?Yeah, would be nice! It's a great problem for me, sync between my google accounts (google apps vs. google gmail).
Some words to sync frequency. Normally I do a manual sync. for me it's the best way because I can control by myself when to sync. Automatic I would prefer once a day.

Inappropriate?You can also keep synced gmail and googleaps contacts ussing thunderbird and an extesion called zindus.
