K530i & SE PC Suite cannot sync contacts with Soocial - connection failed
Hello,
I configured correctly on my phone and on SE PC Suite, so be able to sync through the PC my contacts with Soocial.
Nevertheless there is an error with the connection to the Soocial service.
Sync a calendar with Goosync instead functions flawlessly.

Inappropriate?Hey fourmispublic ,
You are syncing your PCsuite with Soocial? Never know that was possible. What settings do you have?
We would like to look at your logs. Can you send your user name to support (at soocial dot com)?
I’m confused too.

Inappropriate?Hi,
Yes in Sony Ericsson PC Suite, you can synchronize everything from your phone to your PC or alternatively choose an online service.
I configured it manually as described for SE phones, thus:
Serveradress: http://sync.soocial.com
Username: as I will send you per mail
Password: will not say it :-p
Database for Adressbook: ./contacts
I assumed that when I click on sync, it connects to your service through my PC and not through the GSM network.
Phone is paired with PC through Bluetooth during the operation.

Inappropriate? We found out that this software does not seem to be compatible with Soocial. We recommend syncing the phone with Soocial directly.
Thank you for your help fourmispublic! -
Inappropriate?Hello,
You'll be probably as happy as I am to know, that I tried today again after a long time without using Soocial.
=> It works ! And this through the SE PC Suite 6.009.00 on Win7RC (I just updated to the new version 006 -> 009).
Now I'll make trials to see if it functions on OpenSuse Linux ;)
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Looked at your logs, it seems to be a way to edit the sync setting on your phone. It is not the actual Suite syncing. We do see you phone contacting our server. Nice feature though!

Inappropriate? How can I then know if the sync went through the GSM or UMTS network or if I used the internet connection of my computer?
Got an idea?
