Login on the site doesn't work
Login on the site doesn't work for me. Multiple retries (and yes, I can spell my password :). Have reset my password twice. Both times it drops me into the account. I logout. I then cannot login again, the error message saying "Oops, we couldn't find a Soocial account for the username and password you provided. Please try again." Same login behaviour in Flock 2.0, Firefox 3.0.2, Firefox 3.0.3, and Safari 3.1.2. All cookies enabled in Firefox and Safari, accepting cookies from third party sites disabled in Flock. Password resets done from Flock.
Logged in OK from OSX soocial prefs pane so unlikely to be the account. Using same keyboard so unlikely to be ibcak or fat fingers.
In addition backup sets are showing up in Backups page but no contacts listed on the contacts page. I guess that could just be the backend taking a while to catch up?

Niall,
Thanks for your patience! Took me so long because we actually wanted to fix this before we force you to use another username. So I just checked and it worked for me. Would you mind trying and telling us if you concur?
I’m happy we fix things

Inappropriate?Hey naill,
I think I have seen the behavior before although I am not able to reproduce it right now. But if I remember right I think the login is actually successful. The message says you are not logged in but you really are.
Would you mind trying to klick on contacts to see if you can access them?
I'll look for further info on monday. -
Inappropriate?Cheers for your answer Bart. Unfortunately it didn't work on Flock. I'll give it a go later on Firefox and Safari and see if that gets it.

Inappropriate?niall,
Tried Flock, works like a charm for me. I am starting to think something wrong wit your login. Would you mind sending your username to support (at soocial dot com) so we can take a closer look.
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?Okay, thanks for sending your login. I can put an end to all confusion right now:
Yes your e-mail address is your username at Soocial. You have a plus "+" sign in your e-mail address. The webapp. can't deal with that.
I'll send you a mail about how to solve the problem.
I’m happy we found what was wrong with the login.

Inappropriate?I've see a little problem, when i create my account i miss enter a password, so your system create my account with a blanck password (big security hole) !
And when i try to change it, ok the system say me it's changed but i can't log in with the new password, i must use blanck password ...
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Hi, I have the same issue. My email adress contains an _ so maybe that is the issue. But don't ask me to chane or use another email adress....
How can I resolve the issue? Should I sent a eMail to support (what I already did weeks ago and didn't get an answer yet...)
I’m frustrated

I know, two weeks ago were really busy. If you send it again I will check. I just tried a username with a _ and it worked for me. So maybe it is something else.
