Lost connection to GTalk friends after merge
How does the merge function work, in post-merge syncs? I have noticed that some of my Google GTalk-friends "disappear" after merging two contacts in the Soocial web-interface. How do you select the contact to keep in Google, so that they link to accepted GTalk-friends are not lost?

Inappropriate?Unfortunately Google Talk information is not available through the Contacts API so we have no way of knowing which of those is the correct contact. So it's a 50/50 chance that your GTalk friend is lost.
