Mac OS X 10.5.5 + Gmail - sync creating duplicates and now impossible to 'reset' the account...
I use Soocial to sync between Mac OS X 10.5.5 Address Book and Gmail address book.
I had a couple of issues:
- some contacts duplicated
- several contacts with the name field duplicated (i.e. Luck Skywalker would become Luke Luke Skywalker...)
- troubles syncing the "middle name" field I use a lot in my Mac Address Book (I use it for the nickname rather than the middle name, 'cause it's there by default...). A lot of contacts with middle name had the middle name field duplicated in the surname file (i.e. Luck 'mr.jedi' Skywalker would become Luke 'mr.jedi' 'mr.jedi' Skywalker, where the second mr jedi appears in the surname field...)

Finally, the sync broke and no contacts are exchanged now between gmail and soocial or between mac and soocial :-(
The soocial client tells me 'Sending message One / Receiving message Two', or 'Sending message two / receiving message three'... and every now and then 0 contacts sent, 0 contacts received...

Well... I cleaned up my connections and contacts in soocial to start over again.
I managed to delete the contacts, and I reinstalled the client on the mac, but I cannot get rid of the mac in the connectios... I keep hitting delete but it doesn't go away...

I guess I need a bit of support to reset the account (davide.pignedoli AT gmail.com)
Thanks
Davide
