Mac sync problem
Hi,
I'm trying to sync my Mac but it doesn't work.
In the preferences panel the error at the bottom is "Error on last Sync: Soocial could not sync: Synchronisation is not enabled!
Why?
I'm running 10.5.5
Thanks.

Yes sundiver (& everyone else) iSync should be on. Or more correctly the 'Enable syncing on this computer' check box in your iSync preferences should be on.
The weird thing is that you don't actually use iSync - but you should check that the preference in iSync are set to on. The way OS X allows for syncing is via a system library called Sync Services. The normal way to switch this on or off is by using that preference in iSync. We use SyncServices to sync with your Address Book, the Soocial sync client plugs into this library - which is the 'correct' way of doing things.
So to make sure that Sync Services itself is on, the 'Enable syncing on this computer' check box in your iSync preferences should be on, like this:

Inappropriate?Hey Carblanco
I can reproduce this by turning off ISync. Could that be the cause of your problem?
I’m unsure

Inappropriate?Yes, did you put that we need iSync turned on on your website?
I didn't see it, sorry.
Thanks.
I’m thankful
