Merging an imported vCard file with Soocial instead of overwriting

I think it could - at least long term - be an interesting feature to enable an uploaded/imported vCard file to be merged with the existing Soocial account, as an option. Currently I understand it is only possible to import the whole file overwriting any existing contact info in the user's Soocial contact list. Maybe not hight priority (compared to other reqeusts), but what do you say about that? :-)
