(Hint: Would be great if you could explain more on how the Windows Live limitatins affect the use, for instance, I assume you use the "starred" contact details first if there is a limitation on number of details, like Home email, supported)

Created: Yesterday at 07:43 PM
Activated. First sync will take place within a few minutes.
Still no sync took place.

Thanks, that helped. An error happened in your Live sync. IT happens occasionally. The best thing to do is to remove, and then re add the connection. The first should take place within half an hour. Please let us know if it still not works.

Inappropriate?Mmh. I removed and readded the connection 3 times but with no success! The sync won't start in my case.

We are thinking that something changed in the windows Live servers that causes the initial sync to fail for some people. We will have to dig in to it and see if we can work around it. We will let you know when we think it is fixed. -

We are having issues with the windows Live connection being flaky. Their servers seem to return random errors. We have changed our servers to not give up but keep on trying. Please check back in a few hours. -

Got a load of Windows Live backups though (30-something) under Tools > Backups. What's that all about?

Hmm. Seems like there *is* something syncing. But the message "First sync will take place within a few minutes" is still there. But apart from that sync is working. Woohoo!

IThe sync was working but still too flaky to be ribust enough. I dropped it from my list of syncrhonizations untill further notice.
