OS X Address Book sync problems
I started using Soocial, and now my address book is totally fucked. I have duplicate phone numbers (4x) for many contacts, and all other information (email, IM name, address) has been deleted.

Hi guys, just giving you all a heads up that we have deployed a fix last week friday and you should no longer be seeing this behaviour.

Please rest assured none of your data is gone, it's all safe in Soocial. We are fixing it now and making sure that the next time you sync it will be restored.
We know this sucks and falls far short of our aim to be hassle-free. Hope you can give us a second chance and have (a lot of) patience.

I would've waited a bit longer before trying your service if I knew it'd be this half baked, so you might want to set expectations of new users properly so that you don't lose people like me. How long do you estimate until this is fixed and I can use my address book again? -

The info that is lost should still be present in Soocial. We will come with a solution ASAP that will push all the lost info back to your AB. Again sorry for messing with your data. We are learning tons and will do everything to prevent this from happening again. -
Inappropriate?I have absolutely lost data, it is not present on the Soocial Website. I have Mac OS backups and Google backups to show that the data was present. Soocial is the only thing that has ran on my contacts. I understand this is BETA, but this is extremely frustrating as your statement about the data being safe is not true1 Comment Add a comment

Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem. Emails, phone numbers and addresses are all being duplicated. The duplication is happening in both Soocial & Gmail. If I delete the duplicates (in either Gmail or Soocial) they keep coming back, sometimes worse.
I also have Apple Address Book, but I haven't let that sync with these issues.
