My country is not supported
Hello,
I have open an account on soocial, and I have set up my Nokia phone to sync with gmail , but the country and operator is not available for my country "Norway", so I picked Finland, and an operator there (it's close to Norway ) :-).
The Sync is working and my question is, will my phone still connect using my default setting witch is Norway and telenor or will it use Finland because that is in the configuration file ? I guess if it's using Finland that will give me some high cost..

What a message that we send does is it adds a new Connection called WEB it makes sure that you phone has a way to connect with the internet. There isn't a fixed number that it dials. So I think you don't have to be worried. But to be completely sure yo can look at the setting that you find in the WEB connection that you should be able to find in : Settings -> access points
