Outlook sync overwrites multiple email addresses
I am using Soocial to sync my Outlook 2007 contacts between a desktop and two laptops. After a few teething problems, it seems to be working really well. I have a problem, though, with contacts that have more than one email address - e.g. Email, Email 2 and Email 3 in Outlook.
After syncing, both email addresses end up being the same in Outlook, i.e. one is being overwritten with the other. When I look at the contacts in Soocial, I can see both email addresses and both are listed as Home addresses (by default, I haven't set this).
Is there a way to fix this so that information entered into Outlook stays the same after syncing? I don't tend to edit in Soocial, just in Outlook.
Thanks, Kate

Inappropriate?I have the same problem - also with the "other phone number" field - was well as with "email2".
Once it is fixed - will how do we fix the damage in outlook?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Just discovered this problem when trying to get my contacts all synced-up between GMail and Outlook. Perhaps something isn't matching up correctly between Outlook 2007's "E-mail 1, E-mail 2, E-mail 3" system and GMail and Soocial's "Home, Work..." system?
If all else fails, can you just give us an additional drop-down option for just the e-mails within Soocial (i.e., "Primary, secondary, tertiary") -- that way, there is a neat correspondence between the numbered Outlook system and the explicitly tagged GMail/Soocial system.
I'm also having the "phone number gets placed into the Other category in Outlook" bug, though I think that's something different from the one on this page. Methinks that when syncing in one direction (Outlook ==> Soocial) the numbers get placed correctly, but are misplaced during the reverse process (Soocial ==> Outlook).
I’m indifferent, just get this fixed, please? You've got an excellent service going here.

Inappropriate? The new version of the client will solve this issue. The behavior will be different.
For example if a contact has more than 3 e-mail addresses we will send the first three and remember the extra ones. We will not overwrite existing ones anymore.
Since this is quite a big change to the current behavior, the release takes longer than we had expected. So please hang on. We'll notify you here on release. -
Inappropriate?seems to be a common issue with outlook users including myself. maybe add it to known issues along with the phone number and address label issue so new users don't jack up their databases unawares.
