Problems with syncing in outlook 2003 Soocial--->Outlook direction
I've done a test in order to clarify my problems with sync in outlook (outlook can't get changes made at google's contacts)
I've created 3 contacts in the next sequence:
A-1 contact in google's contacts named "Contact from Google"
B-1 contact in Soocial's website named "Contact from Soocial"
C-1 contact in Outlook named "Contact from Outlook"
Manual sync of Gmail account from connections page in Soocial's website
Manual sync of Soocial's client in outlook
Manual sync of Gmail account again (in order to get outlook's changes)
The results are:
C appears in Outlook, Soocial and google's contacts
B appears in Soocial and google's contacts
A appears in Soocial and google's contacts
The conclusion is that there is a problem with the sync client in outlook that only allow out-sync direction. Changes made in google or soocial never go to outlook.
I've check my firewall and works fine with Soocial's client(trusted application)! I use the last version of soocial's sync client.
My username is manelgr@gmail.com; the 3 records created are avaliable for your revision.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hey Manel,
somehow your Outlook does not allow the client to write new contacts. If an existing contact gets updated it accepts the changes fine. But when we try to send a new contact, it does return an error.
Not sure why that is. Are there any other plug-ins connecting to your outlook contacts database? Exchange? -
Inappropriate?I have a similar problem... Changing data in gmail or Outlook does ́t change data in Soocial. Changing data in Soocial changes data in both Gmail and Outlook. And only 25 of my 1800 contacts from Outlook are transferred to Gmail. But all 1800 are on Soocial...
