Soocial keeps trying to create duplicate groups in the OS X Address Book

I have been canceling the most recent syncs because Soocial keeps trying to create lots of duplicate groups in Address Book. This happened several times before I noticed the duplicates, deleted them, and stopped subsequent syncs. I just downloaded the most recent Soocial software which I believe is supposed to address this but the problem persists. I believe because the duplicate groups are still present in the Soocial database. Unfortunately, I can't see any groups on the Soocial website in order to delete them. How do I solve this?
