Strange things happen when syncing my contacts to Gmail...

first of all, thanks for a great product! From what I've experienced so far, this can become an awesome piece of software.

I'm experiencing a strange problem though. After having synced my Gmail and my phone contacts, I had a lot of duplicates. Okay, that was due to Soocial's merging rules (no merging of two contacts if they don't have anything in common), so that was (almost) no problem. I merged them all by hand (which was quite a hassle because the web interface was not very cooperative) and finally got 507 nice unique contacts in Soocial's web interface.

Then I tried to sync them all with Gmail, and that's where it became strange.

I clicked on "Connections -> Gmail engine -> Edit -> Connect to Gmail" in order to force a fresh sync with Gmail (is there a better way to do this?). A couple security questions later, my contacts were synced between Soocial and Gmail - but wait! There were only 496 contacts in Gmail!

A couple of contacts are missing in Gmail now. The first one I've found doesn't differ from the other ones, it contains two phone numbers and one email address. Haven't looked for the other missing contacts yet. Soocial continues to list 507 contacts.

And it becomes even weirder: After having checked one of the contacts (myself, containing four email addresses and two phone numbers) in Gmail, my mobile phone number is listed twice, and instead my other phone number is not there! Now I don't understand anything anymore. What if my other contacts haven't synced properly either?

I'd really appreciate if you could help me on this one.
