After connecting to GMail, there's a "scheduled to sync" notification; It is, however, only flashed briefly and doesn't give feedback when it is scheduled. That would be friendlier en more clear ...

Typically it takes about 1 hour. However typically is not exactly the best moniker to use right now as we are seeing tremendous amounts of users flow into Soocial. Expect it will take about a day, we are improving this and it should be faster by the end of the week.

Inappropriate?A year later, when we press "schedule", we get "This will queue up an immediate sync of your Gmail engine contacts. Subsequent syncs will take place on the regular schedule." My question: what's the "regular schedule"? -
Inappropriate?It's also not really "scheduling" anything. It's initiating a manual sync, but doesn't let you do anything but that. Having it schedule other automatic syncs based on the time of the last manual sync is a side effect. The label is misleading. This should be renamed something more useful, like "Sync Now"
