syncing old nokia phones is hard (spesificly the nokia 6230)
trying to sync my nokia 6230. filled out the required fields. it asks me for WAP settings

The WAP settings would be for you internet connection. Do you not have internet access set up on you mobile? Can you get your provider to send those?
What you can try too, is to select the closed model on our connections page, like the 6300 or 6120. There is a god chance those setting will work for your phone. After the setup is complete and the sync is working you can delete that phone from your connections list.
I’m confident you can get this working.
