UTF-16 vCard Import Clears Contacts
When I imported a UTF-16 vCard contact (posting to /contacts/import), it emptied my contact list.
My Address Book.app is currently exporting my all my vCards this way. At the very least, this import shouldn't destroy data. Ideally, I'd love UTF-16 support.
I put together a minimal vCard that clears my contacts, it's nothing special. Just remember to save as UTF-16.
I'll be happy to help reproduce the bug or verify a fix.

Inappropriate?Hey Joseph,
I am not completely sure what you did. Did you import it here?
In that case it is expected behavior. We don't have the possibility to add contacts through Vcards in the Webapp. yet. I guess you'd have to do that in the MAC Address Book.
I’m unsure

Inappropriate? That was the spot. I actually was able to upload UTF-8 vCards successfully and those contacts were added to my contact list.
But the situation I'm describing doesn't seem to be what should be expected. Say:
1. I have some contacts in Soocial
2. Then I upload a UTF-16 vCard, such as the example above
3. The upload will fail, which is expected
4. But all of my existing contacts that were in Soocial will be missing, and I don't think this should be expected
I’m confused
