Hi Todd, sorry you're out of luck with the Razr2 V9m (as far as I can tell). They don't support SyncML on the V9m.
For the Razr v3, try this manual setup:
Setting Up Your Motorola Razr to use Soocial
Step-by-step guide to configuring your Motorola Razr calendar to synchronize your contacts using Soocial
1. On your phone, from the main screen, press the menu button and select "Settings".
2. In settings, select "Connection".
3. Select "Sync" (NOT Bluetooth). Note to T-Mobile subscribers in the USA: It seems that all T-Mobile Razr V3s in the United States have the menu item for Sync setup turned off by default. You need to edit the SEEM to get it working.
4. Select "New Entry".
5. For "Name", enter anything you want. I entered "Soocial".
6. For "URL", enter the "http://sync.soocial.com".
7. For "User Name", enter your Soocial user name (e-mail address).
8. For "Password", enter your Soocial password.
9. For "Data Paths" choose the "Change" soft-key. Enter "./contacts" for "Phonebook".
10. Select "Ok" and then "Done". You will see a "Changed" message.
11. To synchronize your contacts, go to "Settings", "Connection", "Sync", highlight "Soocial". (or whatever you named it), and press the center navigation button (the circle with the dot).
12. You may want to create a shortcut on your phone to make this easier for future syncs. To do this, go to "Settings", "Connection", "Sync", highlight "Soocial" and press and hold the menu button until you see the message "Assign Shortcut for: "Soocial" select the "Yes" soft key.
13. To synchronize your contacts using the shortcut, select the "Shortcuts" soft key from the main screen, highlight Soocial (you can press the number before the shortcut to jump to it) and then press the "Go To" soft key.
14. After it finishes synchronizing your contacts, it will give you the message "Sync completed. View log." Select "Yes" or "No" using the hot keys.
Let me know if this works for ya!

Inappropriate? Thanks for letting us know. Which RAZR is it? Our phones are at the office, so it'll be Monday at the earliest to check out the menus. Hope you can hold out!

Inappropriate?I want to add a disclaimer: there are some known quirks with the sync clients on the Motorola phones. We've found certain Moto phones to swap first names with last names for instance. Let me know if the above works fine for ya.
-
Inappropriate?I'm in the same situation as SideEffects - the only menu choices in my v3m are "incoming call" and "Bluetooth."
What to do? -
Inappropriate?I'm glad I finally found these directions, as I was having trouble syncing my RAZR V3. However, after following them, the connection still doesn't seem to be working. When I try to sync, the phone appears to re-set itself. The log on the phone suggest a sync may have occurred, however my user account on Soocial doesn't reflect that.
I have a RAZR V3 from AT&T. I've noticed than in the Data Paths option the field referred to as "Phonebook" in the directions is labeled "Address Book" on my phone. Could that make a difference? -
Not sure if it does. Might just be that the RAZR does syncml 1.2 Our server does 1.1. If there is nowhere to change that it might not work. -
I don't have an option to change SyncML, so I presume I can't change it. Are there plans to have your servers work with SyncML 1.2? -

Hi JJsegota, we are working on SyncML1.2 compliance but it might take a few weeks before we can deploy it. We'll keep you posted when we do... -
Inappropriate?I've set up the phone, RAZR3 from ATT, as per Daniel's directions, but:
When connecting the screen goes blank for a few seconds and then the main menu comes up. The Soocial site shows a phone icon now and my phone's log shows a 2 minute connection was made. But no new numbers were synced. Is there a difference in the razrv3 models? -
Bill, I would like to look at your logs. But I am afraid that this is not going to work until we start supporting 1.2. I just want to make sure. Can you send your user name to support (at soocial dot com)
