Webapp merge function not working properly

I know you are re-writing the web interface and am looking forward to seeing the results. Meanwhile, I am trying to use the current interface and run into problems, when trying to merge duplicate entries.

When I have two contacts (the two I wish to merge) selected, the interface still claims I only have "1 contact selected", but still shows the 'Merge these contacts'-button.

A click on the button, with the necessary additional confirmation, does not provide any error messages, but both of the contacts seem to still be there after the "merge".

Is this an issue you are aware of? I'm wondering if it is related to my browser, but I have tried both on Chrome and IE. This problem makes the scrubbing a bit more cumbersome...
