why does the "+" disapears in international phone number ?
Hi,
in international phone number, most phones understand "+" instead of "00" before the country code (for instance : +33 for France instead of 0033) ; when I sync Soocial contact (from Gmail) to Outlook, the "+" disapears, making the number unreachable.
On the other way, when syncing Soocial (from Outlook) to Gmail, the "+" appears OK in Gmail.

Soocial does not change the formatting of the phonenumbers. It is probably Outlook doing this. Outlook respects the formatting settings that windows has.
So if you change that setting, this problem might be solved. -

Inappropriate?I found a solution that works for me. You need to set a "location" in Windows before syncing with Soocial or Outlook will remove the "+" signs. See more detailed instructions on how to do this here:

Inappropriate?when I make a database with telephone numbers in it, they all start e.g. for holland with +31. when I import these into Outlook the + dissapears...
