Why does the windows app installer give an error?

We are trying to use soocial to converge the addresses from many different computers on both Mac and PC platforms. On mac, it seems to work fine. On the PC, we can't get the application installed. It keeps saying it can't verify the vendor and quits out every time. How does this work?
