Why my contacts do not appear in Outlook 2007 ?

Hello !
I installed GMail sync OK for calendar.
Then I installed for Outlook.
I have no contacts in outlook after installation. Then I uninstalled and rebooted the PC as explained in the forum.
I reinstalled with no outlook session running.
Same result. No contacts in outlook.
Furthermore, I have only one connexion shown on the site, the GMail one. No connection is shown for Outlook sync.
I use outlook 2007
