XP client doesn't seem to show status.
I would think that if you open the XP client will syncing (sync status gotten from tooltip) that the client would show the status. All I see is idle though. So I really don't know where is it in the syncing process. Also is seems to take on the order of hours for about 650 contacts from Outlook to sync.

Synching is working, from what I can tell, so my comments on this thread are more cosmetic, for you to file under low priority in your bug-tracker :)
The status window still won't open when I click on either link. The icon in the taskbar/tray area seems to know that I've synched today, but the message in the Outlook menu thinks I synched "ages ago."

Ok does your verion say 0.9.86 or 1.1.14?
0.9.86 is the _new_ version (even though it is a lower number - we switched numbering scheme). If you have version 0.9.86 then it is still an issue - can you send us a message from the client then we have all the info we need to get to the bottom of it. -

If your client doesn't look like this screenshot then you are using the old version.
