Background for image posts doesn't stretch correctly on the standard theme

The Post background seems to have a fixed width, and doesn't stretch correctly around posted images.

on the reverse side, on images that are smaller than the standard background it stretches way across the right image border. This problem came with the last soup update from 12.12.2008 i think, before this the CSS of the standard theme worked properly
