Can I change what timezone I'm posting from?
Is there a way to change my timezone? I realize the hosting is European, and thus in the future relative to me, but all of my posts are showing up in the future as well.

We've now upgraded soup to put timezonely-correct date stamps in your stream: It will now print the correct date (june 23 in your case), and put it in the right position (if you made posts 1 hour apart and a timezone boundary falls between them).
I should add that I found out this one was a long-standing todo item, which we thought was almost impossibly hard to fix... not so, I guess (-:
I’m Very happy and extra-smug for having fixed this

Inappropriate? This is weird. You should not need to set your posting timezone. What should happen is that we save the post in UTC, then display it in that timezone by default, but have a javascript fragment rewrite the dates to your browser's local time zone before they're displayed.
So what you describe should definitely never happen (-:
What platform and which browser are you using? What's your computer's timezone?
I’m equally confused

Inappropriate?Okay, looking more closely, it seems the timestamps are all correct for me, but the date is changing based on UTC.
Here's a screenshot: http://www.flickr.com/photos/99672750... (which will also, of course, end up in my soup.)
Note that it's currently the morning of June 24, and I have posts dated for the evening of the 24th, which were in fact posted the evening of the 23rd.
I’m starting to see what's going on.

Inappropriate?Wow, that's a fine example of a bug, right there!
These date markers are inserted by our endless scrolling code, and aren't touched by the javascript fragment I wrote about. We'll come up with something to fix this.
I’m impressed by how hard date handling is
