Inappropriate?Seems like your DNS provider doesn't support CNAME records, but only A records.
You could try mailing your provider's support team, and ask them how to add a CNAME record that points to "soup.io".
---
If you don't want that hassle: You can add a direct A record, meaning you would enter the following:
Hostname: "www", or something like that. Depends on your provider. This is usually the local part of your own domain (hostname.your-domain.com).
Address: "77.244.245.130" (The IP address of our Webserver)
Hope that made sense :-) -
Inappropriate?i've been waiting for days for a reply and still nothing after 2 support tickets, i'll give your suggestion a try though
thank you
