How to backup?!
Just wondering -- is there some way to actually backup all my stuff that I have on soup...?! Or is anything planned at least...?!
Not that I don't trust the soup-kitchen, but I'd rather have an option to do my own backups occasionally...! :)

For the case when they do, though, there is a way to get a full export of your soup's content, through the "Export" link in your soup's Privacy panel.
This gives you an RSS feed that contains all your soup posts, with references to full-sized images. Using software like cron and curl (or wget), this should be straightforward to integrate into a backup scheme. We do recommend that you don't download that more often than once every 2 hours, though: with larger soups, this can really tax our servers.
