Inappropriate?So far this isn't possible, you have to wait for our updater to come around (every 1-2 hours).
But I like the idea – even though I doubt many people will be savvy enough to add an extra pinging service to their blog configuration, this should be easy enough to implement. I'll give it a shot and let you know.
