soup.io is really really slow
I love soup.io, really. But if it'll tend to be so damn slow and lagged, I'll drop it.
according to my firebug/yslow tests it takes 37.5 seconds (!) to load just the main page. Then it's about 100 other requests to image files etc.

Inappropriate?We are aware of the problems, sorry that it was so bad right now.
It should already be back to "normal", we are working hard to ensure it stays that way.
Also, efforts are under way so that it actually gets "fast", but that might take a little bit longer.

Inappropriate?Lukas - nine months later it's still really slow. I am a new user and this is driving me away from using it with any seriousness. Have you considered using a content delivery network? (EdgeCast, Limelight, etc.?)

Inappropriate?Im a big fan of soup.io, using it daily. but its a bit of a drag since the last update - pages loading slowly, incomplete or not at all, same with "post to soup" window on other sites. thus, its more work than pleasure lately to post any stuff or even scroll thru it.
please get it working well again!

Inappropriate?well it depends on what the issue is. if it's a delivery issue then actually it could be fixed overnight. if it's an internal issue such as the servers or the code, that's another story.

Inappropriate?i really <3 soup but it's kind of unusable these days. there are quite some alternatives rising at the moment and i'd hate to let this go... i really hope this get's fixed.
